Ready is a CD of emotional trip-hop songs.

I want to share with you my latest full-length CD, Ready. Here are a few personal thoughts about some of the tracks:

BEAUTIFUL THING: One thing I feel very strongly about is that the human experience is made up of many different emotions and experiences. Some pleasant, some not. Some difficult and some wonderful. But they all make up a life. I think the key is to live life moment by moment. That forms our journey.

AS WE RISE: Anyone who has been reading my blogs for a while, knows that I love this Earth and am very concerned about the environment. The weather has been changing dramatically, as well as animal and plant life. This song is my way to create consciousness about this crucial issue.

GOING BLIND: A song about losing one's way in life. A sort of mid-life crisis song.

LINES ON MY FACE: A song about embracing our life journey, and being proud of the road map it leaves on us.

SILENCE IN MY HEAD: A song about that voice in one's head that never stops talking. So much so that many of us don't even know it is there. This song is a yearning to get to our soul in the silence.
